BMW is committed to the iconic boxer – out of conviction. The 1802 ccm twin-cylinder boxer engine of the R 18 Classic is the boxer with the most displacement we have ever built. It delivers its maximum torque of 120 lb-ft at 3,000 rpm. At 4,750 rpm, the “Big Boxer” delivers 91 hp.
