The first thing you’re likely to notice about the G 310 GS-Edition 40 Years GS is the unique color and graphics package. The bike is finished in stealthy Cosmic Black with contrasting yellow graphics with a large yellow GS on the fuel tank. The motorcycle’s front has an angular headlight design and comes standard with LED lighting for excellent illumination. Above the headlight, the special edition gets a unique black windscreen and black handlebars. A single-cylinder engine displacing a modest 313 cubic centimeters, it provides a stout 34 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 20 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm, and it makes a unique sound. The power is routed through a six-speed gearbox that is integrated into the crankcase and is sent to the rear wheel via a chain. Braking is handled by a single 11.8-inch disc up front with a 4-piston caliper and a single, 9.5-inch disc with a one-piston caliper.
